1. About Idensal
Idensal Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates an online platform that connects clients seeking services with independent professionals ("sellers") who offer those services. We do not employ the sellers listed on our platform and are not a party to any agreement between clients and sellers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your login details or allow anyone else to access your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at hello@idensal.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Idensal lawfully and respectfully. You must not post false, misleading, or defamatory content; harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users; attempt to circumvent the platform to avoid fees; or use the platform for any illegal purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Payments & Fees
Idensal may charge service fees to clients, sellers, or both. Fee details are displayed before you confirm any transaction. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We are not responsible for disputes between clients and sellers regarding the quality or scope of work performed.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any content you upload to Idensal (photos, descriptions, reviews). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform. You must not upload content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
7. Reviews & Ratings
Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on genuine experience. We do not edit reviews but reserve the right to remove content that is defamatory, abusive, or violates these terms. Sellers may post a single reply to each review.
8. Limitation of Liability
Idensal acts as an intermediary. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any services offered. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time through Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice. On termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
