1) What we are (and aren’t)
-
Idensal is an introducer. We help clients and local providers (sole traders and companies) find each other.
-
We are not a party to your contract. Any work agreed is strictly between client and provider.
-
No payments on-platform (MVP). You arrange scope, price, and payment off-platform at your own discretion.
2) Who can use Idensal
-
You must be 18+ and able to form a contract.
-
Providers must comply with applicable law, permits, insurance and any trade qualifications required for the services they offer.
3) Your account & security
-
Keep your login secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
-
We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy breaches or risk.
4) Posting jobs & applying
-
Clients: post accurate details and (if possible) photos. Don’t post misleading, illegal, or unsafe requests.
-
Providers: only apply to jobs you can deliver. Be clear about price ranges and availability.
5) Content you upload (photos, text, profile)
-
You keep ownership. You grant Idensal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt for layout, and promote your content within Idensal (including our social channels and emails) to operate and market the service.
-
You warrant your content doesn’t infringe rights and doesn’t include personal data of others without consent.
-
We may blur addresses or remove EXIF location in public views to protect privacy.
6) Acceptable use (what’s not allowed)
You must not upload, request, or promote:
-
Illegal, dangerous, or regulated services without proper licence/permits.
-
Hate, harassment, threats, or discrimination.
-
Fraud, scams, or spam.
-
Pornographic/sex services or escorting.
-
Weapons, hazardous materials, or waste handling without licences.
-
Doxxing, precise home addresses in public text fields (keep it general).
-
Attempts to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
7) Ranking & visibility
-
No pay-to-rank. Organic order is driven by relevance signals we define (e.g., proximity, match to category, activity).
-
We may A/B test layouts or ordering to improve user outcomes.
8) Messaging & off-platform dealings
-
Keep communication on Idensal until you decide to proceed.
-
If you take conversations off-platform, you may lose any product benefits (e.g., unified inbox, future evidence features).
-
Idensal does not mediate disputes in MVP.
9) Reporting & takedown
-
Use Report links or email [hello@idensal.com] to flag content/users.
-
We may remove content or accounts at our discretion and will act promptly on illegal content.
10) Intellectual property
-
The Idensal platform, logos, and code are our IP. Don’t copy, frame, or redistribute without permission.
11) Disclaimers & liability
-
Idensal is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee provider identity, quality, availability, or job outcomes.
-
To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for lost profits, consequential or indirect losses. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the higher of £100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (MVP is typically £0).
-
Nothing limits liability for fraud, death/personal injury due to negligence, or other rights that cannot be excluded.
12) Termination
-
You may close your account anytime. We may suspend/terminate for breach, abuse, risk, or legal reasons.
13) Changes
-
We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new date and, for material changes, notify users by email/in-app.
14) Governing law
-
These Terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Courts of [Scotland/England] have exclusive jurisdiction.
